Description
ABI Research, a global technology research and advisory firm, is looking for a part-time WeChat Translator / Coordinator to manage and grow the company’s official WeChat account. Working closely with both the analyst and marketing teams, the selected candidate will be a fluent WeChat user who can use their knowledge to help develop and implement a successful WeChat strategy. As the WeChat Translator / Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating content, maintaining a content calendar, and reporting results.

This is a part-time position, approximately 10 hours per week.

Specific responsibilities include:

Identify WeChat best practices, including tactics of other research firms
Translate content (from English to Mandarin), format, and schedule posts for publication on WeChat
Develop a WeChat content calendar
Communicate WeChat activity to internal staff to encourage internal engagement
Provide monthly reporting on activity, engagement, and follower growth
Manage account updates, verifications, and other administrative tasks

Skills

Fluency in Mandarin, both written and verbal
High-level English language skills
A detailed understanding of WeChat and 1+ year of using the platform professionally
