Description
ABI Research is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR). As our Sales Development Representative, you will be focused on generating net new growth opportunities for the outside sales team. In addition, you will be directly responsible for a nominal individual sales and account management quota. This hybrid role is ideally suited for individuals looking to diversify their sales skillset, operating in both a sales support and individual contributor role.

You will be a “master of the sales tech stack”, navigating internal systems, external tools, suggesting new ones and liaising with sales, marketing, IT and client success to improve processes and conversion.

Our ideal candidate will have experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. Your strong communication skills will help cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact through deal qualification.

Sales Development Representative Responsibilities:

  • Master the sales tech stack – Salesforce, Hubspot, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, Calendly, etc. Become the Sales Jedi you always wanted to be.
  • Create and qualify leads from marketing campaigns and other conversion points
  • Book meetings, conduct demos, close business and/or handoff deals to others as appropriate
  • Live and learn the technology we cover! Understand and leverage the changing business and technology issues and needs facing ABI Research’s targeted and existing client base
  • Identify, align, and collaborate tightly on a high volume of activity (emails and calls), qualifying opportunities for our inside and outside sales teams also driving significant net new sales pipeline to achieve and exceed sales goals
  • For your accounts, own the entire relationship with the customer with the goal to retain and grow spending

Requirements

  • 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in a B2B sales role
  • Undergraduate degree (B.A/B.S.)

Location
Initially, the job will be fully remote. Employees residing close to our headquarters in Oyster Bay, New York, can work from the office once it reopens. Exceptionally qualified employees may remain remote indefinitely.
